Life is Good

Worked a ridiculously long day today. 10.5 hours straight of banging keys. Here's what made it better:

-Beckett throwing a one-hitter against the Rays, who are sneakily one of my most hated teams
-Bruins win the Cup for Boston and for America against the dirtbag Canucks
-Nationals win their 5th straight as Livan Hernandez throws a CG shutout and Michael Morse homers twice. By the way, Morse is hitting .312 on the year with 12 homers, and has hit .373 since moving full-time to 1B. Who was it that suggested that again? Of course, moving Morse to the infield has opened up playing time for Laynce Nix (who had a key 10-pitch AB last night that resulted in him drawing a game-tying walk) and Roger Bernadina (3-5 tonight with an RBI double). Why I'm not a GM by now I have no idea.
-A dozen wings with ranch and celery at Clyde's, plus a handful of ice cold Yuenglings

And now it's time for bed, just felt like sharing. This is one of those days where sports more than makes up for the stress of the workday. GOOD NIGHT NOW.
